Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
—Martin Luther King Jr.
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime is a body of the United Nations focused on creating a safer global environment from the infamy of terrorism, organized crime, and drugs. Since its establishment in 1997, UNODC has encouraged the use of coordinated assistance that expands across borders and seas, realizing that the only way to find a solution is by combining the minds of all member nations. A goal for the body is to better empower countries with the right knowledge and the practical means to engage the misconducts that taint our modern world. The foundation of the 2030 Agenda leads UNODC in establishing a safer and more secure system for the future.
