The United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund is an United Nations organ that was created after World War II to bring food to those children in need in Europe. The belief of the fund is to bring humanitarian and developmental assistance, not only to children, but also to their mothers, especially in developing countries all over the world. From its humble beginnings in 1946, UNICEF has been aiding all children from different countries in any situation.
